Everywhere I enter a username/password combo keychain asks to save it. Everywhere, except MacRumors. Not a big deal but I am (as a Mac newbie) curious as to why?

Keychain Won't Save MacRumors Login

The username and password you enter for MacRumors is saved as a cookie in your browser.
It's my understanding that Keychain is meant more to handle system passwords.

I had the same problem until I realized that I could manually enter my username and password in Keychain. All you have to do is open keychain, click on the plus icon on the bottom and enter the URL, your username and password.
