Volume Control For Each App?

There used to be an app called 'Detour' that let you control the volume of each app individually, but that was PPC only and was discontinued.

Does anyone know of an Intel version of such an app?
 
It sucks, because I use the optical out of my mac which for whatever reason means I'm not able to lower the volume on my mac, I have to do it on the amp which is not as convinient as pushing the vol-/+ buttons on my keyboard..

I love it. This is the second attempt I've made at googling--the best results (or lack thereof) have come from macrumors... Amazingly this thread started today.. It's time to create something, app developers!

I'd write one, but my python skills have never been mac related.. :(
