time machine says backup is full

So I keep getting this error, with 2 computers, running 2 seperate installs of OS X, I always get this error... OS X will not automatically delete files like it is supposed to for me... what do I need to do? thanks!

please :)
 
are you running entourage or parralells? both of these programs mess with time machine and you cant back them up.
