Hello,

I am doing a school project where I need videos. How do you rip videos off Youtube and have them in the format for imovie (free). Also does anyone know how to rip videos off the c-span website?
Thanks for Your help

Check out the Activity window of Safari, you can use that to see the files your browser requested from a server. Makes downloading things like flash videos an ease.

I have a safari extension called "Download Youtube 1.0". Ads a download button to any youtube video. I think it saves the video files as mp4 or so...
