Ok so I am JB again, but MyWifi is $19.99 is there another free app that works, i very rarely tether, but if it is best that I pay for MyWiFi I can, just prefer not to spend money for something I rarely use.

Ok loaded Pdanet and when I try to open it, it quits and goes back to my main screen? Is there a particular location I should get this app from, or is there another that works?
I know you wanted a hot spot app but you could also look at TetherMe since you stated you'll be tethering sparingly. I think it's only like $5 or something.
If you really want the hotspot app though, can't beat MyWi. I use it sparingly as well however, despite its price, it's a better investment in the long run I think.
