Is Your iPhone 4S Running Hot?

No.... mine isn't doing squat except telling me it hasn't been activated. Guess AT&T is getting slammed! Glad to see it though, that means lots of 4s's were sold! Without a JB I'll be chilling on my 4 for a while longer.
I've never had a problem with battery life leaving wifi and bluetooth on with my iphone4, and see no reason not to do the same with the 4S.
As to running hot, mine got a little warm when it was syncing everything over and has since cooled down. In past experience (iphone4) it can warm up some if you're taxing the cpu/gpu with games or a lot of transfers, but its never been a problem.
