Greetings my fellow Mac aficionados,
My G3 PowerBook looks like its dead...the internal power supply that is. I have a G5 iMac coming (goodness knows when it will get here), so I need to replace it or no Apple a day for me. It's almost been a week already, and using my father's PC is breaking my heart. Anyway, depending on what the man says in Melbourne, I can almost definitely obtain a SE iMac or, if he can fix the G3 PB and sell it to someone else later, a G4 400 Ti PB. The iMac is cheaper, slightly faster and better value, but it's not portable. But it does look great in graphite and has fairly good speakers. The PB is more expensive and fun options will be few if any. I am looking at getting a new portable next year. Anyhoo, what do you experts think, and have any of you run Tiger on either of these machines? What is it like? A penny (or at least a nickel!) for your thoughts!
