I just moved and I am trying to setup up my ATV2 and MacBook Pro. I have turned on homesharing and logged into my iTunes account on both devices, but my ATV2 does not recognize my computer. iTunes on my laptop shows home sharing (although doesnt list any devices, just says Home Sharing in the sidebar).
At my previous residence I had the ATV2 connected to my iMac and everything worked great (I have yet to unpack my iMac at my new place so I do not know if it is working). I have a new router (Netgear N600). Both my ATV2 and Macbook are on the 2.4Ghz band, I have turned homesharing off and on mutiple times on both devices, I have updated and reset both devices and still nothing.
How can I get homesharing to work????!!!!! Is this a router issue, or something else? I would appreciate any help!
