Line input for iPod Touch 4G
What do you recommend for an "line level" input into the iPod Touch 4G for recording into garageband? I see many guitar solutions but they are typically very low signal level.
Your thoughts please especially from those that have recorded a synthesizer or other keyboard. |

OK I went and bought 2 units to try with a line in signal.
iRig and Woodees Instrument Adapter For my tests a line in from a Nord Electro Keyboard mono into an audio track along with some existing loops. Result was iRig was good. Woodees was OK but the gain on it was very HOT so was difficult to keep attenuated without distortion. Probably would be great with a guitar. I think I will keep the iRig until I find any better solution. |
