No dice with Chrome or Firebox but for once Internet Explorer actually proved useful. Pre-ordered in 5 minutes with IE.

Spent 4+ hours online at work today truing to get an iPad pre order in. Boss wasn't too happy, but understands 'the need'. Apple.ca was hellishly slow and my order 'hung' in the midst of checkout.

But I got an email on my ihone saying my order went through, but with 2 Apple TV's

Called and had one removed.

I dithered about having it shipped to my house, but didn't want it left on the back porch (UPS has left several shipments in a row sitting at -20C), so I've had it sent to work instead, which of course means I won't gt any work done when it arrives.

Apple TV
Black leather smart case

I'm too old to be addicted, but I guess I am.

Ordered mine around 5:50ish. Received confirmation email around 6:30ish.

Arrives between 16th and 20th. I'm in zone 1 so hopefully I'll get it friday

I bought the White 64GB LTE version, with the new Apple TV, which seems will arrive later on.

Wow can still order now without any delay for a delivery on the 16th.
Looks like Apple is going to have a good release.

Called back and ordered Kanex mini display port to HDMI adapter and Applecare for the iPad (only 99$ Cdn and it covers accidents with a small deductible). Also had to add a sim card in because the servers were really flakey and I didn't get a chance to order one initially. My iPad 3 case already shipped?!

No mine says "Delivers March 19" which is why I thought it was odd. Its been shipped now but I havent checked the status will do when I get home as I can't recall the details.

I just spoke with Apple. They advised me that the reason some orders are still "Processing Items" is because they are not engraved. The ones that are "Preparing for Shipment" or "Shipped" are (for the most part) engraved, therefore shipping from China. Whereas non-engraved units are already in warehouses in Canada and will start moving next week. Zone 1 will receive their orders on the 16th barring any unforeseen shipping delays (weather, etc.).

this makes a lot of sense. apple so far seems like they've been on the ball with this launch and well prepared. thanks for the info!

That makes a lot of sense.

Mine is White 64Gb 4G switched to preparing for shipping yesterday.
