I would give it another month or two. I picked mine up at launch! Airplay is pretty awesome. Cant wait for it to come to the Mac!
I would say you have a while to wait. The price of the current product usually only drops a little before the new version goes on the market. I would say you have at least a good year to go.
First batches of refurbished units are stocked and use for Warranty replacements, you won't see any on the Apple store for a long while
