Nokia 5110 with classic bite marks on the rubber antenna. Everyone had a Nokia come on. They were indestructible too!

Had this Nextel has my first cell phone. I was in 8th grade. My parents were big on the Walkie-Talkie feature, especially my dad. Damn, those phones were annoying.

This! Probably one of the best phone of all time !

but I honestly have had so many phones since then I can't even name/count them, between 15-25. No Idea, I usually change every 4-7 months.

Anyone else do this ? Or am I weird.

I went through the same thing with my dad and this phone. Lol Right now i have its successor at the moment. Once Apple releases the iPhone 5, I will be getting one. Time to join the smartphone club!

Hey, wow. I was in the same boat. Same exact story, and same exact phone model and everything.

When I finally got a phone that I wanted, it was between the Sidekick 3 and the Helio Ocean. I wonder what ever happened to Helio.

I went with the Sidekick.

Still probably my favorite phone. If they didn't make the new one just another Android phone, I would have probably gotten it.

The walkie-talkie came in handy, especially when we went on cruises every year. The dedicated walkie-talkie beat the hell out of the ones you could by anywhere.

Isn't it funny to think how awesome we used to think our old phones were?

I got my first "mobile" in 1995, and this is the closest thing I can find that looks like it. A Motorola Bag Phone, that I had hardwired into my '94 Mustang GT. Ah, those were good times.

My uncle had one of these when they first came out. He owned a multi million dollar business at the time and he drove a SL500.

Man I always thought he was so bad ass.

I remember he used to have like twenty spare batteries around his house and car!

Looking at all the cell phones posted, I'm young

Me and my dad had one each, one black and one blue.

Purchased in 1993, it was $99 and included a free leather case and extra extended battery. I seriously enjoyed using this phone but back then, the airtime was expensive, about $200 for 6 hours.

The phone could retain a call when swapping batteries and was analog. Sometimes, the sound quality was much better than what we have now.
