Hello,
after using my Sonnet Dual 1,8GHz (7447) now for a year, I did plug it in a "Wattmeter" and I was a bit surprised.
While the Apple G4 500GHz single gave an output of 50W (iMac G4 DV 90-110W, interestingly), the Sonnet gave me 70W, when using mpegstreamclip to convert a video. But after some time (the process had allready been in progress for a while) it raised to 145W, though the processor load did not rise.
Is this normal (and mpegstreamclip just did harder work at this point, should have seen this in the processor load % I guess)?
Kind Regards.
