Last week I ugraded (finally) to iTunes 4 and now when I connect my iPod to my iBook, all I see is under "dscan99's iPod" is Contacts, Notes and Calender. I don't see any of the existing playlists that are sitting in my iPod.

The iPod itself seems to be working fine with all the music intact but why can;t I see the songs in iTunes?

This also makes it difficult to transfer songs to the iPod as I can't see the playlist.

any help is appreciated!!

You've pressed the little grey arrow to the left of the iPod icon, right?

Oh, and make sure it's still set to "Manually manage songs and playlists" in the iPod preferences.

Thanks :) It turned out I had chosen NOT to install the "Ipod update" after upting my iTunes. I did that and now all's well. Phew!
