I just got a new 2012 Mac Mine (the base model), and I upgraded the RAM to 16GB and I replaced the hard drive with a SanDisk 120GB Extreme SSD.

For some reason, my Mac Mini is taking over 30 seconds to boot. The screen goes gray for about 30 seconds right after I press the power button, but before the Apple logo appears.

I tried verbose mode, but OS X wasn't getting stalled at anyone part of the startup.

I also tried putting back the memory that came with the Mac Mini, but that didn't chance anything.

I made a video showing the problem.

I think I just found the problem.

I didn't copy the recovery partition because Carbon Copy Cloner didn't allow me to.

So does anyone know how to copy the recovery partition?

Yes, look for the Disk Center on CCC -- this will let you add a recovery partition.
