Barclay card has not arrived. Am I able to make a purchase still?

I recently applied for a barclay card and was approved. Though, I applied online at my home but want to make my purchase in store. The credit card hasn't arrived in the mail yet. Will I still still be able to make a purchase at the Apple Store? assuming they can look up my name and verify me?

I just applied for one. The store can look your account number up and you can use it for the first 10 days until your card arrives. After 10 days from date of approval, you need to use the card.
