Hi, long time lurker, first time poster.. :D

I would like to purchase a 27 inch iMac as soon as it is released. However, I noticed that it seems to only have one headphone port. Now my question is, how would you go about connecting a gaming headset which uses two audio jacks, one for output and one for input, to this beautiful machine. ;)

USB to audio adapter

I think you'll actually need something with an audio in to USB type adapter. The iWire cables are just splitters, but I don't think they are input devices. It seems like the iMac will take audio in, but perhaps only with Apple style headphones with a mic. If you don't want to use a headphone/mic set that has one cable (sounds like yours has 2 cables), then you'll need something like this: USB to Audio out/mic
