Image disk creation software recommendation request
Hi folks -
I would like to get a piece of software for my iMac that will allow me to burn jpegs to a CD or DVD with the ability for slideshow. I do not want to use iPhoto. I want the files to be the original files, at full original resolution. My goal is to be able to prepare disks with my photographs on them that I can hand someone, they can put the disk in the optical drive on their computer (or their DVD player) and view the images on the disk, but I want the original JPEG files on the disk. Nothing fancy, just an image slideshow. No music, frames, etc. Just the images playing on a slideshow or click to advance the jpegs, something like that. thanks !! Chris . What you asked for is easily done using the Finder:

iMovie might be able to do this. I've seen it used for time-laps, which is essentially a slideshow of stills. I did something like this with Flash, but that's overkill. Dale

Autorun is a Windows thing and a major security issue to boot. Macs do not autorun applications from removable storage.

Yes, "auto run" was what I had in mind. I guess I'll just continue to burn the jpg's to a disk and hand that to them. thanks ! . |
