I am replacing my hard drive on 2012 Mac Mini with an Intel 520 series SSD.

I am at the point where I seat the SSD and connect the Sata cable, but it won't seat properly...it keeps sitting at angle and am unable to screw the grate to the SSD.

Can anyone help? Is there any material that I can put underneath the SSD so that it won't sink down????

:(

On the far side of the ssd make sure the torx screws that are inserted into the side of the drive seat properly in the sockets in the side of the case. This keeps the drive from falling and allows for proper alignment
