Strictly Mobile Photography
Hi All,
Thought about starting this thread, based STRICTLY on mobile photography. All pictures taken and editted ONLY from mobile phones. Below the pic, list the mobile device, as well as the apps used for editing. I'm basically interested in seeing/discovering new mobile apps used for photo editing and what people can do with mobile only photography.

Paper Aeroplanes
This is one of my favorite "surreal" photos that I've done; shot and edited on the iPhone 4S using the Jag.gr 645 PRO, Snapseed, Image Blender, Touch Retouch and Color Lake apps. And yes, those are real paper airplanes that I made and put on light stands to photograph...

Great thread! This shots are very inspirational. I'll admit that I've ignored my iphone camera for quite sometime and relegated it to only snapshots of something funny or quick pics to message the family with. I have yet to even consider using it as a creative tool but these pics have inspired me. I see things everyday and wish I had my DLSR with me. In all honesty though I never have it unless I have planned to go shoot something (which is not very often). I'm not a pro photographer so I probably only have my DLSR on me less than 5% of the time while I have my phone on my practically 100% of the time.
You guys have inspired me to look at it differently. I downloaded a few of the apps and I'm going to try to be more aware of using my phone when the moment strikes me instead of just wishing I had my camera with me. Doing this should up the amount of shots I'm taking and editing which in turn should help me get better on the big camera too. It's a fascinating sub-genre of photography (mobile photography) if I can call it that. You guys have proved that anybody can snap a pic with a mobile phone but just like a DLSR it still takes vision and creativity to make it art. |

OK. Here are are my first attempts at all mobile shots and editing. They were shot on my iPhone 4 and edited in Snapseed. It was quite easy to fall into the trap of making everything look "retro" or like it was taken from a Holga. It's fun and I was surprised with the editing capability of an app. The downside to me is trying to edit on the tiny screen.

Strictly with Mobile Photography
Quote:
I just started using the app today and its operation is easy and effective. Not sure yet if it is non-destructive, but will know more when I download the roll. Since I do not have an Android phone I am not sure if it is in that playground yet. I am not affiliated with Adobe, Apple, Google or any other vendor, just a DSLR user who is trying to figure out if mobile photography is of value to me personally. While a bit pricy at 5.00 US as far as photo apps go, the features on it are really amazingly good. Always interested in feedback. Will post some images shortly.
