I would buy a 18in ipad but not a 24in.It would be home use only and the mini for travel.

Even if the 24in is going to be very light,it would still look and feel ridiculous holding something that big on my lap.

Obviously, they need to keep the naming uniform:

iPad Mini -> iPad -> iPad Maxi.

I highly doubt enough people would buy this device to justify the cost of manufacturing it. If anyone watches a movie on a bigger screen on the road, they more than likely are using a laptop and could care less about Apple releasing a 24" tablet.
