I opened imovie 09 just then and the window wouldn't appear. I had to open new project to see it, but now, all my stuff has gone:

Never panic. Its a machine and they have some ghosts working in them. When this happens to you close all your items in the dock and shut you computer down. Wait a little while and restart.
I hope you got your iMovie event and project on a external hard drive?:apple:

What would be very nice. people post problems, how about letting us know 'HOW You Fixed IT"?
Which will help other people who could occur the same problem.
Thank You:apple:

You see you think as well. I dont mind people asking and i know we dont have to answer. But it is nice when results come through.
Just a little "How I fixed It" would not go a miss.
Then again thank god we are all different.
