I am thinking of hooking a set of powered/active speakers to my Mac Mini. I was scouring the iNternet and I came with 2 interesting full range models: Dynaudio Focus 110A & KEF X300A. Anyone has any experience with either? What other peripherals are required to hook these babies up? I know a USB DAC is required as part of an active speaker system. But you can directly connect the KEF to your MacBook or Mac Mini.

I've never heard those dynaudios, but if they're anything close to the BM6A in both sonics and build quality, you'll be a happy camper.

do you have a place you can listen to both? the only important thing is that the speakers sounds good to your ears.
