Had my iPhone for a few months now and given my everyday use, I usually end the day with between 40-50% left on battery. I plug it in to my charger every night even if it is at 50%. I realize that I'm probably opening myself up to many varied opinions, but if I occasionally let the power drain to below10%, am I safe in charging every night even if it is at 50%?

Thanks

What you're doing is actually the best. It's recommended that you let your battery drain down about once a month. Partial charges are fine. I plug mine in every night regardless of how much is left. Sometimes it's 10%; sometimes it's 65%. I'll randomly throw it on a charger in the car as well.
