I live in an area where 4g has exceptional coverage. Stamford CT / NYC
I only use the web for emails and browsing, but for about 16 hours a day.
I have been using PC laptops w/SSD's and a Virgin Mobile USB thing for internet connection (3G) and have recently tried the 4G's, which I haven't noticed that much of a speed difference of.
What i HAVE noticed was how fast the iPad 4 with Verizon 4G I have moves...
For applications where I'd prefer to use a laptop vs iPad, what are my options to get an iPad 4 4G-like experience on a Macbook Air or other Macbook? I know that some iPads can be made into hotspots, does anyone have any suggestions for mobile internet connections that are pretty quick for the Macbooks? What works the best/fastest in an area where there is great 4G coverage, and I'd only be browsing...?
I'd love to try/find something and instead of upgrading PC laptops to just buy Macbook Air's, since they are already SSD's and so much more portable.
Thanks!
