I have a couple of macbooks in my house with the color profile called "display" showing up. Where did it come from? It is separate from the default Color LCD profile but cannot be deleted. I also have it on my MBA connected to my TBD. On it there are two "display" profiles and one "Thunderbolt Display". Clicking the "display" profiles give no change in color compared to the default. However, on the other macbooks clicking on the "display" profile makes the screen more blue.

You can remove unwanted profiles by deleting them from the folder Macintosh HD/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Displays/
