Hi,
First post here.

I'm having problems with a few folders that cannot be opened on my mac. It works on a PC and I know Itunes can find the files inside, but when I try to use finder to navigate to them finder shuts down or restarts.

Some time ago when I investigated the problem more could go into the folders, see the subfolders, but as soon as I when to a folder where there where files finder shut down.

I've tried doing "chmod -R 777" on the folders but that did nothing.

Any ideas? (thanks in advance!)

Hi again,
After having a problem with a corrupted zip file and finding the advice to use some other software to unpack I applied the same thing here and downloaded XFolders. I am now in the middle of moving the folders, a few at the time.

There are no slashes or colons, but a few folders seem to not want to be moved. No problem, I leave those and settle for the rest.

(Posting this so that the poor sod with the same problem in 2016 will find some help when he stumbles upon this thread.)
