I have a PowerMac and got a MacBook recently. I have never had this problem on the PowerMac, but I don't suspect it is a problem in hardware. ITunes on the MacBook stops playing after every song, it will not continue to the next song. I have been looking through the preferences, but the answer is eluding me. If anyone has the simple answer, they receive a gold star for the day.

Thanks

Have you got all of the 'check-boxes' ticked? If not iTunes will only play the song that you've selected.

(Command click one of them to tick your entire library.)

All the songs are checked.

No I don't search around, usually hit play and go on to work on something else, but I have to go back every time to play a new song.
