which PMG4 is best for noise?

i'm thinking of picking up a used (or new, if i can find one) power mac G4.

which model would be best for noise? in relative terms, i've heard the MDD's are really bad. are the quicksilver's as bad? are the mods reliable? i have a 400 MHz AGP sawtooth to compare noise levels to.

noise is my main concern... as long as the speed is around 1GHz. single or dual.
