I just bought my MacBook and being a little dim did not realise that I would be unable to connect my old Ipod without having to wipe all my tunes off. Is there any way I can overide this?

You can copy all the music off your ipod onto your new macbook by using a program called Senuti.

After doing this you can sync with your new macbook and although it'll wipe your ipod, all your music is already backed up so it'll just send it back across to the ipod. :)
