Heaven or Hell
How in the world can i Export my contacts from my
Verizon LG VX8700 phone to my new iPhone ??

I actually have made a PDF and a Word Document
of all my contacts from Verizon Backup, but
how do you get those contacts into Addresse Book ?

I was at the Genius Bar twice and no one there could figure out
how to convert a word or PDF document to a CSV file,
which could be imported into Address Book.....!!

I am so frustrated about this...!

Please Help!!

iSync

You could try and use the iSync program if you have a Mac... just open the program, go to "devices" > "add device" and it should try to find it. I'm pretty sure you need to enable bluetooth on your phone first and make it "discoverable."

From there you should be able to import all your contacts and it will put them in Address Book (application). Then when you have your iPhone, go to one of the settings tabs and make sure that it syncs over your contacts from Address Book.

I used the program BITPIM to pull all the contacts off my LG VX8100. According to BITPIM's phone features supported, the VX8700 has the same feature support as the VX8100.

BITPIM connects to the phone via usb or bluetooth and the software will export the phonebook to a CSV file.

Yes - BitPim DOES work for the 8700 (Thats the phone I have too and I've used it) - get that and get everything from your phone into your Mac/PC address book, then you can sync it to your iPhone.

Simple way to do this:

1) Import Contacts to Bitpim from LG phone
2) Export Contacts as vcf (not csv)
3) Export Contacts to Yahoo (select Other and choose vcf file)
4) Import Contacts to iPhone from Yahoo
