I'm a Safari user and I love it but it sucks that there's still a lot of streaming videos out there that it can't run. For that I'm forced to use FireFox. But surprisingly, there's a few Java chatrooms out there that neither Safari nor FireFox on my OS X can run so for this I have to reboot to Windows and use FireFox to run them. Why!

Most of these applications were designed with IE in mind. Safari is far superior, but not compatible with IE. End of the day, people design for the major OS, Windows.

Use firefox, it plays everything. Also, check out Perian for Quicktime which adds support for more file types.
