iTunes Stuttering on Mouse Over

Hi all,

Recently, I noticed whenever I mouse over movies/tv shows/videos playing in iTunes (which will bring up the transparent movie bar and "x" in the top left) the movie will become stuttery and the transparent bars are no longer transparent and have black corners around them (instead of being nice round corners). Also whenever growl notifications or quicklook is called, it has the same problems over the video, but also freezes a bit of the video behind it.

I've included two pictures to enforce what I'm trying to say.

Anyone know what could be causing this?
