Hello all, i hope everybody is having/had a good Christmas.

I am just asking what dock speakers anyone could recommend, after lots of research i have got down to a few choices (its an ipod classic)

the logitech pure-fi anywhere
bose sounddock series (whichever anyone can recommend)
klipsch igroove

i'm looking for good sound mainly and portability isnt an issue.
If there are any others i should look at i'm welcoming suggestions!

Thanks

Sears is closing out the Griffin Amplifi for $50 (in-store only)! :D

Pure Fi anywhere is good, but lacks a little bass, the sound dock again is nice but for their price you might as well get the desktop speakers with a dedicated bass module. Not tried the igroove although I've heard they were good.

Consider the Harman Kardon Portable iPod Go + Play Speaker System, it's cheaper than the Bose one but sounds much better. Also look at some other Logitech systems, like the Logitech Pure-Fi Express and Pure-Fi Dream. The JBL Radial is also an excellent speaker. I would scrap the Bose idea. There are much better speakers out there for the money.

I would have said iPod Hi-Fi if they were still making it.
In that case, I actually recommend the Harmon Kardon iPod Go + Play as well; sound quality is superb on it.
