So I was thinking, let's just assume that I have zero use for a CD drive. I'm wondering is it a) possible and b) worthwhile to replace the internal disc drive with an SSD hard drive.
I don't even own the new Macbooks but I remember reading that they switched the drive connector to SATA (or something different than it previously was) which would basically allow you to easily install two hard drives instead of one.
What I was thinking was putting all of my programs and OSX on the SSD while leaving the hard drive to store all my media files. I assume that I could get the benefit of a faster operating computer with the SSD while maintaining the storage that I would need with the HDD
