Hi all. Just bought a Quicksilver PowerMac g4 (2002 model, dual 1Ghz) for £50 with known fault. Some guy has said he will swap the two dead QS power supplies I have here + £30 cash, for a refurbished (repaired?) QS power supply.

Is it worth fixing?. I'm just using it as a stop-gap until I get my Mini, which I can't afford yet. Using to do Xcode and C/C++ etc. Would appreciate some help.

If the power supply will for sure fix the problem then I don't see why not. A dual QS is a pretty good machine.
