Actually, the one game I go see up in Boston is the only one the Sox have lost so far to the Yankees. Clearly, I should just watch on TV. (Saves money too).

What I have found interesting is not that the Red Sox have played great (although their bullpen has been spectacular) but how absolutely HORRIBLE the Yankees have played.

Scrolling slowly down on my little 12" iBook screen, this post was HI-Larious. You made my day.
I am a baseball fan first and a Yankee-hater second. But I have no doubts that the Yankees are too talented to remain in this much of a funk all season. Although the Lakers are the Yankees of the NBA and not the other way around, it seems that Yankees may be taking a page from the Lakers' book: sucking early and slowly improving just in time to make the postseason and the finals. Great athletes time their peaks. I don't think the Yankees are deliberately trying to play this lousy, but I'm not going to get hopeful that they will play this horribly all season.

I live in the Bronx, and yet just like most of my friends who live here, I hate the Yankees. But my friends outside the bronx love them. Go figure. So tomorrow, I'll have something to laugh at people about in school. Jeter is in an 0-25 slump, which is the worst of his career. Basically because I hate the Yankees, the Red Sox have become my 3rd or 4th favorite team. So tomorrow should be great...

I got a good look at Damon over Spring Training over in Ft. Myers and everyone around me was thinking we had Jesus in the outfield. He definately has the look.
