im looking for a good webcam. the iSight looks awsome, but is far too expensive (im a poor college student) i just tried the macally icecam which is usb and it was pretty bad. the USB interface ate all my processor speed and the picture was very bad, it was all washed out, even after more light and making adjustments to the settings. i am guessing that firewire will run much more smothe so i could run more apps than just iChat when using it. i have seen the orangemicro iBot and it looks pretty good. are there any other good webcams . . . or cheaper?! thanks for your help!

Before I got my iSight, I bought a unibrain Fire-i webcam, which was pretty decent aside from the manual focus.

Note that the iSight includes a mic and that most others don't. Something to consider if your Mac doesn't already have one....
