So, I had a long layover on my flight back home, and I foolishly decided to try downloading a movie for the long flight ahead. I didn't nearly have enough time to download and sync to my ipod nano, so I paused the download and turned off my computer, assuming the itunes store would recognize my purchase later on a different network. But of course... it didn't. Now I'm out five bucks with no movie.

Is this because you cannot pause a download and then expect it to resume after restarting the computer onto which it was downloading, or because of another reason. Help?

Thanks.

solution

to resume the download:

1. Open iTunes.
2. Choose Store > Check for available downloads (in iTunes 7.7 choose Store > Check for purchases).
3. Enter your account name and password.
4. Click the Check button.

if that doesnt work, you need to report the problem by:

1 Open iTunes. If you are already signed in, skip to step 4.
2 Choose Store > Sign in.

3 Enter your account name and password, then click the Sign In button.

4 Choose Store > View My Account:

5 Click the Purchase History button:

6 Click the Report a Problem button at the bottom of your purchase history:

7 Click the arrow next to the purchase with which you want to report an issue.

8 Click the Report a Problem link next to the item with which you wish to report an issue.

9 Click the Problem menu:

10 Choose the option that best describes the issue. If none of the options match your issue, choose "My concern isn't listed here."

11 Write comments about the issue (optional).

12 Click the Submit button:

all you had to do was Google the question.....

Got it

it worked, thanks.

I did Google the question, and this forum showed up after many dead end leads.

Guess that's what you're for. Thanks again.
