just saw the update to the app store on the ipad, there is a new tab at the bottom next to updates, Genius.

the long awaited genius feature is finally a go on the ipad!

Yep, I just noticed this. Pretty cool.

Problem: if you follow the link to an app, it returns you to the first page of your recommended list afterwards - even if you were several pages in.

Doesn't seem to respond very quickly or clearly to 'not interested' tagging either.

Still, early days - good to see it up!

I remember activating genius and kept wondering where the heck it was, then I saw it this morning. About time.

/sigh

More apps to buy.

i didn't know I was waiting for the genius feature. and even for a long time.:confused:

I never used that feature in itunes. why would I use it on the iPad. It's so useless.............

What's the iPad upgrades section for?

Notifies you when there are iPad specific versions of your iPhone apps available.

Dunno where it gets the info about which apps to search for (your pad or your account?) nor how it determines the existence of iPad versions (a search or a Dev flag?).
