To the OP - the only thing the mini has over the 4 is 1) size/weight and 2) price. The 4 is a more capable, more productive device in every other respect.

Went to the apple store today and played with the iPad 4 for about an hour while comparing it to my mini. I wanted to do it but something kept bumping me back when I approached a Specialist. The thing that kept me anchored to the mini was the fact that I can hold the mini with one hand easily.
