iPhone 4 - App store not working?!

Just got my iPhone 4. When I try and open the app store it says:

"You're request could not be completed"
"The item you've requested is not currently available in the US store"


what gives? Anyone else have this issue?

Was your iTunes Store the US version the last time you synced? I have US and UK accounts and always have that pop up.

Yes, I've always had the us version.

n/m had to sign into the store under "Settings"
