I was just wondering...
I have a Google Voice number that I'd rather be using for people to contact me, and it works nicely for forwarding calls to my real iPhone number, as well as forwarding text messages, making apps like TextNow a better alternative than paying upwards of $30 a month for an SMS package.
However, FaceTime seems to be locked onto my iPhone number. I tried turning it off in Settings > Phone, changing my number above it, then turning it back on, but it doesn't do anything.
Anyone have any thoughts on getting FaceTime to be registered to a different telephone number once it's already been registered?
