A friend recently bought a cube to replace his pc that he was using in his living room with his tv set. He is happy with it up to the combo drive. It just doesn't want to accept dvds or cds when he tries to put them in, and he told me it make a grinding sound when trying too. Now I know that with slot loading drives on the Mac, they make a kind of crunching sound when it puts the disk on the spindle. I havn't gone over to see it yet, and the person who sold it to him is working to fix it too. But I'm wondering if these drives had trouble in the past, and I can't seem to find a post on the cube about a problem with the drive, so, any info people.
