i usually don't post multiple questions in a day, but this one is really bothering me...

i can't stand the autofocus feature in the iphone 4 camera. any way to turn it off?

also, i've seen some apps that use a "soft flash," but is there a way to permanently disable the flash completely, without having to set it to "off" every time you open the camera function?

as always, your help is appreciated...

Disable auto-focus on iPhone

No you cant turn off any of the features.

Sure you can! Here's how

AE/AF Lock

In iOS 5 and higher, the Camera app includes an AE/AF lock feature to let you lock in auto-exposure or autofocus settings. To turn this on, tap on the screen and hold until you see AE/AF Lock appear at the bottom of the screen. To turn the lock off, tap the screen again. Works with: iPhone 3GS and higher.

Happy Shooting!
