I've been using 0xED for a little while but was wondering if anyone knew of a better Mac OS X hex editor at all? 0xED is rather sparse, and having used Hex Editor Neo on Windows Vista it feels a little under powered.

Thanks guys. I guess I'll stick with 0xED then, shame really as Hex Editor Neo is really, really nice on Windows.

Gap in the market? Any budding entrepreneurs here? :)

I've never heard of 0xED, I'll have to give it a try. I use HexEdit, but have used Hex Fiend a few times.

I've been using hexedit from mac ports, it's a console application using ncurses.
I've tried 0xED and the gui hexEdit (which I'm not sure is the same?) but I find that I like the console app the most.

The one thing that's missing is a good (free) hex editor that can edit (or view mainly) devices. When I give 0xED a path to /dev/diskxxx it crashes. Been wanting to modify Hex Fiend to do this, just haven't gotten around to it yet..
