have you tried Srware Iron? it's basically Google Chrome but it eliminates the usage tracking and other privacy-compromising functionality, give it a try, and see if you like it 🙂
i've been using it for a few weeks now, i was hesitant at first because i wasn't sure if my extensions would work with it, but as i said before it is basically Chrome and well, all my extensions work fine
