I have all my apps, various textbooks, and all my music on my 16gb iPad 2. Still have 10.9 gb of memory left.

You sound like my better half 🙂 Though I am sure they would be happy if I decided on getting the iPad2 since they would end up with my iPad1.
Was taught a lesson by mutual friends a few weeks ago when I mentioned that I might be willing to sell my iPad to them in front of a group of friends... I was roundly reminded by all there, at this point there is NO "selling" of old tech to them... they get my old gear - no questions asked ROFL
I'd been undecided between the 32 and the 64 until i got on line around 3pm on launch day. The argument in favor of the 32 was I have never used more than 10 on my 16GB iPhone 4. The argument for the 64GB was that I never put any video on my iPhone 4 either. I could probably get by with 32 just fine even with adding video to the mix but maybe not and you cant add memory down the road. I also figured the 64 might be less popular than the 32 and that going with the more expensive model would increase my chances. I ended up with the 64 as planned, 56.3 GB of 59.1GB still available. No video yet but I really think I would have been just fine with the 32.
Thanks for an insightful contribution to our discusion. Another theme that gets beaten to death is posting to a thread just to tell everyone the topic is irelevant or has been beatn to death.
