Terra seems alright, but for 99 cents I'd take atomic, or icab...both block ads and have much better full screen options.

Finding good apps is pretty hard to find..once you've gone through all the must have lists..

like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, PvZ, FieldRunners, etc..

Those AAAA+ apps were easy to find..

finding great A-, B+ apps are hard.. and there are some great ones out there..

Find your self a site that shows new app releases, like AppShopper, and just download ALL the free ones! Fill your iPad.. then when u are bored.. go through them ..delete the ones you dont like..

I use http://FreeBeeApps.com its VERY simple looking..and its meant to be viewed on the device, since there is a big INSTALL button on each app which takes you directly to iTUnes..

find your own site that you like..

my 64GB iPad is always filled ..most of the apps i have never opened up yet.. I go through them when im stuck somewhere and bored.. most get deleted...

but you find some real awesome gems sometimes! and you got it for free!

So here are some of my apps that "I" like.. you may not.

Accordeon - i used to play accordion (parents made me) as a kid.. done well
Bingo CLassic - Great Multiplayer and family game
Touch Tanks - multiplayer Tank battle game
Tower Maddness HD - tower defense
Keno 4 Multi Card - True Casino KENO game.. i like Casino games
Veg Samurai
Little Things - look and find game - family played for hours!
Video Poker + Perfect Play Trainer - Exact Replica of the Vegas Video Poker
Armadillo Artie Slots - for me, best New Style VEGAS Slot machine
MobilityWare's Solitaire - just simple and good
SLINGO Supreme HD - damn good game.

some you may already have, since they are amazing..

Star Walk - star gazing
Flight Control -
Field Runners
Plants Vs Zombies
VLC or CineXPlayer - play your .AVI movies on your iPad
SketchBook Pro - for art doodling
Good Reader - PDF viewer
Atomic Web - Web Browsing
Angry Birds

Talking Tom - if you see a little kid, show them Talking Tom.. they have a blast.. i think its pretty stupid..but kids love it.

Is it worth upgrading to Sketchbook pro from the express version, i am really liking it and using it for some creative design ideas sketches, what is it that i am missing with the express version that the pro has?

Maybe a dumb question but i am new to draw apps, although i like them a lot.

My favs are Atomic Browser and Flipboard. Once you try Atomic you won't go back to Sarfari. Flipboard is just pure interface genius. I love the look and content.

Kindle/iBooks- makes reading on the iPad glorious
Flipboard- I make flipboards for all my favorite websites, turns any website into a magazine for ya!
Reeder- RSS has never been so good. Period.
iCabMobile- No reason to use Safari after this. Looks just as good, but more features.
Twitter- Since Tweetie, I have loved the developers coding style, and its no wonder that this iPad app is incredible.
CNN,PULSE,USA TODAY,SLATE, ENGADGET- All great consumption apps
Cool Hunting- Designer savvy
Architizer- I really love this app, great looking architecture from all around the world

Thats just a few from my first page. I enjoy many of the music apps, such as morphwiz, garage band, Minisynth,Ims-20,M3000 HD.

Its really incredible what the iPad can do.

Zite
Flipboard
Evernote
TomorrowHD
Pages
Discover
StumbleUpon
Infinity Blade
Deadspace
PicaHD (I like the themes)
Appshopper

I know they're a bit generic but I like them a lot, and I like the flipboard has a reddit reader though it's frontpage only and very limited... the magazine layout does greatly enhance that experience though. Zite... I use it every day. It's like stumbleupon but in a magazine format and it's also great for browsing.

MLB At Bat '11. After all, it's opening day today.

Do you like this app? I was thinking of buying it today but the iTunes reviews hit it pretty hard (albeit, the negatives are regarding the fresh $15 purchased required for each device you use MLB on)...

I love flipboard, especially how it handles twitter feeds. I've heard a lot of people ranking zite above it, but so far flipboard seems to be more customizable whereas site is all curated sections.

My current favorite to do app is Manage, which lets you write tasks with your stylus as well as type them in, and supports subtasks. It's not perfect yet, but for me the stylus input is worth more than the bells and whistles on other to do apps.

AppShopper is great, tells you when apps you've got your eye on go on sale and you can see everything that's currently having a free day.

Although honestly, if you're talking about what's probably logged the most hours in my iPad so far, I'd have to give the award to Pocket Frogs.

In alphabetical order...

My Top 3 Free:
  • Dropbox: Indispensable.
  • Wunderlist: A beautiful todo app with web syncing. It maybe too simplistic for some, but that's what I like about it.
  • Zite: IMO, the best aggregated news app.

My Top 3 Paid:
  • Articles: Fast, feature-packed Wikipedia client. Some usability quirks, but innovative UI nevertheless.
  • GarageBand: This is actually my kid's favorite app, but it's a great diversion.
  • Reeder: Gesture-based RSS/Google Reader client. It's missing few features (e.g., ability to manage feeds), but it's super fast and it just works.

I just found another and I absolutely love it!

Zite

What a great freaking app! I have been using it and playing with it since I downloaded it a few days ago.

Love this too. Shame the devs are getting pressure by the press to remove their content though.

I love it too but I'm not sure how much longer it'll be around in its current form. There seem to be some major issues over copyright relating to some of its feeds.
