White iPhone 4 Finally Launching This Week

I originally wanted the white model, but ended up getting the black model. Once it hits the shelves, I'll look at it in store to see how it looks in person, to see if I'll want a white iPhone 5....works out well!

Definitely waiting for the iPhone 5. Even if the form factor doesn't change much I'm sure the faster guts will be worth the wait.

Not that I don't want to, I just don't need to and there is a new one coming sometime this year so...NO!

Picking one up for my gf, her 3G is becoming unbearable.

Apple really wants to squeeze out all potential sales of the iPhone 4 up until the last minute because they lost big time in 3GS sales for nearly 2 months after the leaked/stolen iPhone 4 incident.

I really hope that they will still push out the iPhone 5 in June despite all the rumors that it will be postponed to September.

why even bother coming out with a white iphone for this year? Does anyone really care anymore?

Reason it isn't a disgrace: The white enclosure apparently was causing trouble with the camera due to light leakage. You would most likely be calling that disgraceful if they had indeed released a 500$ phone with that rather huge flaw, so I guess they can't win.

Already have the black iPhone 4, and I find it so much sexier than the white iPhone.

Do people really get excited about this? I've never owned an iPhone, as I'm loyal to Verizon and at this point am waiting for the iP5, but I think black looks farrrrrrrrr better than the white model.

I was considering the white iPhone a few days ago and just got the black one, I actually don't know if I'd even switch (just a restocking fee to worry about) to the white iPhone now though because I really like the black one a lot (probably more than I expected). I might still get the white iPhone 6 when that comes around though because I still think the white one looks good. But really you can't go wrong either way, the iPhone looks awesome with either color way. I'm just hoping they stay close to the form factor of the iPhone 4 for the next few iterations, unless they manage to find a big redesign that tops it (which I'm sure they are more than capable of lol)

This comes really, really late.. and with the iP5 around the corner. In all honesty, I don't see how some paint issues could have delayed this 10 months back

Happy with my Samsung Focus, though I'll probably switch back when the iPhone 5 comes out for Verizon. I'll miss Windows Phone 7, but I won't miss AT&T's lack of service in my area.

by seeing the results of the poll, we can see that majority of voters won't buy the new iPhone 4 in white. It is based on around 3200 votes.

I am not an expert analyst or anything like that, but let me say this now, when the white iPhone 4 launches on April 27th, it is going to be chaos and out of stock because there are TONS of demands of this phone I dont know why. Same thing goes with the iPad 1 and the white iPad 2, people are saying that iPad 1 was just a bigger iPod touch, and the white iPad 2 was ugly and terrible-looking. But see now, TONS of people decided to choose white iPad 2 instead of the black one.

Typical Apple fan. They vote no, and when they finally see in person, they can't resist to buy one even if they have a black iPhone 4.

For me personally, I have the original iPhone 4 in black that I bought back in June last year and I am looking to upgrade to the white iPhone 4 and sell the black one.

Just an opinion though

Have people maybe stoped to think, that we may not get a new model this year? That the reason they are putting out the white model now, is to cover the fact we won't see a update till next year?

They should offer conversion kits especially when the polls show so many black iPhone owners are already sticking with their current iPhone.

I would wait, to see the white phone in person... If it looks good, then I would think about selling my black iphone4 and getting a white one

Why offer a cheap option, when they can make people pay full price. For a new one

How many people here would change their mind if the white one was released with upgraded specs (A5 chip)? I'll probably end up getting one for my wife because she's wanted one since launch.
